Our business combines the expertise of several of the founders of clean water technology with the scientific innovation and manufacturing expertise of one of the most respected and fastest growing water treatment companies in Europe.
As well as being highly effective it is just as important to us that our products are ecologically responsible: all Biomimetics formulations are biodegradable, can be disposed of without any harm to the environment and, because of their extremely low toxicity, have been developed without any animal testing. All Biomimetics products are patent pending.
Whilst commercial in execution, our business is underpinned by a scientific advisory panel which includes some of the most eminent practitioners in their respective fields. It is our goal to work with organisations within each of these fields in order to enable the benefits of our technology to be realised globally.
From a commercial, academic and regulatory perspective, Biomimetics Health Industries sets the highest standards.

Sam is a world-renowned professional surfer, travel writer and explorer from Gwenver beach, Sennen, Cornwall. Sam is our sole sponsored athlete and explorer. We have supported Sam’s work in travel, media and academia since September 2011 to help spread the positive benefits of Biomimetics Health, and promote an active and balanced lifestyle. Surfing is a wonderful example of a sport tuned to water quality, health and changing coastscapes. Mimicking the characteristics of nature is a vital message for a sustainable, ethical future, both locally and globally. Sam intends to continue to spread, develop and fine-tune the Biomimetics Health message through surfing, writing and presenting documentaries. ‘Copy nature, stay tuned,’ as Sam says.
Sam has an MA in Geography from Pembroke College, University of Cambridge, and is currently researching a part-time PhD in Travel Writing with University College Falmouth. Sam has been a multiple British and European longboard surfing champion and now specialises in exploring remote coastlines that shun conventional tourism (such as Haiti, China, Mauritania and Oman) with renowned photographer John Callahan and their surfEXPLORE team. Sam’s first book, Surfing Brilliant Corners, was a big success, and his forthcoming sequel, Surfing Tropical Beats, is launched in Chinese in 2011 and English in 2012.
